Thanks for all the replies to my letter of last year (or so it feels.)
I'm sorry I haven't answered until now, but I can, due to my 'middleman', at
best upload only once a week. The topics will usually be old hat by then...
Guess a lot of quotes will be needed.

I:
>> Hi. I'm Ole Reichstein Nielsen, or just ROC (that's COMMANDER ROC to you!).
Per:
>Hi there! Hmm, doesn't that come out as "ORC"?
No, actually it spells ORN, as in 'ornithologist'!

Per:
>Anyway, I don't have late issues of those German fanzines and I'm not sure
>what the current address of D.O.N.A.L.D. is.
No-no, Per, the Donald Duck Sonderheft I was referring to is not a D.O.N.A.L.D.
publication. It used to be called Die Tollsten Geschichten von DD (Sonderheft.)
It's a damn good magazine, packed with Barks reprints... and a cover that's so
close to Barks 1954 vintage, that it has to be one of Jippes'.

I:
>> I have indexes of all the Danish AA&Co, (up to '82 from "Carl Barks & Co.")
Per:
>So this is Martin Olsen's "Det Store Index", right? Are there any
>problems with spreading it?
Yes, "my" index is actually Martin Olsen's, at least until 1982. The last
chapter was in CB&Co.#18, and the new editor (Paw Mathiasen, J.Brochmansgade 7,
st.tv.,DK-2200 Copenhagen N who has 2 cubic metres of back issues,) didn't
carry on with it in the latest 19.th issue, a Don Rosa special. I haven't seen
more of it published.
The problem with spreading this is a trifle matter of typing it all in. I don't
dare to hope that a scanner could handle my claw. But OK, half a day's work here
and half a night's there... Where should it go? I know Harry would like it.

Thank you, Harry: I'm ordering the Dutch Donald Duck right away too. You don't
sound to find it too spectacular, but judging from your index there is a lot of
homegrown stuff that don't make it up north. All we get are Mau Heymans'
shorts, and I find them very amusing. There was a self-portrait (on a wanted
poster, where else?) in H 90022, the firebrigadehose<...>factory.
Also I have a bunch of issues from around 1979 and the covers are GRRRRRRREAT!

I:
>> ... and recently started subscribing on Swedish Kalle Anka & C:o.
>> Yesterday, my first Norwegian issue arrived. I'm Back.
Per:
>What dedication! What on earth do you need Danish, Swedish, *and*
>Norwegian issues for? They are almost the same anyway, right?
I just read Mr. Rosa's 'The Guardians of the Lost Library' and that's a damn
good reason for subscribing to Norwegian Donald Duck. The Danish special
is a Grandma Duck 50 years anniversary issue, full of recycled Danish junk.
Now, why would I need the Swedish edition then? Search me. Well, all three have
differing covers, yes...
BTW, Swedish KA *did* have a double issue: 19-20/93 was in one part. So there
wasn't any the next week, or what? My subscription started a little later, and
is somewhat irregular, sometimes it arrives a week before, sometimes 10 days...

Thank you, Don, for pointing out that the Guardians cover *didn't* have a
D.U.C.K. I could have gone blind on that! I had a few comments, but decided
to save them for later, if you and I and 10 million Norwegians were the only
ones to know the story. I liked the crusaders in Constantinople.

Fredrik:
>Yesterday, I found a rather interesting List of Lists on r.a.d.
What's r.a.d.? Research and Development? Radical Anarchist Devices??

Fredrik:
>My favorite authors are: Barks (?!), Giorgio Cavazzano and Don Rosa.
Topi:
>Subject: Re: Worst Disney Stories
>Anything by Cavazzano.
Fabio:
> Now about my favourite stories...[deleted]...and Pezzin-Cavazzano (Paperino
> e l'isola vulcano) which are close enough...
> (ok, go on: flame me :-)

So, who *is* this Cavazzano? He's not listed in the CREATORS file...

A Bop, Bop theory: Maybe that comma is a tired bug?

I have noticed a pattern in the autobiographies submitted by list members.
Now that we know how many employees of General Electric are on this list, it
would be interesting to know the Aquarius frequency. Would too!
My birhday's the 20.th of January '65.

Ferioli.
