I`m back!!!

Hi, everybody!

I`m happy to be back on the list, although these will 
perhaps be my last two weeks for ten months, as I participate
a student exchange to the US, and I don`t know if my host 
parents have an internet access. 
So here are my comments on the happenings of the last three weeks:

DON: 
1.First of all: My congretulations for the Eisner awards. This
  is a big success as well for you as for all of us fans. We have to 
  thank you for this masterpiece.
2.What facts did you change from the Barks universe? Well, not many,
  but for example the fact that you have the money bin built 50 years
  before Barks mentioned it (we`ve had this topic a few months ago).
  On the other hand I see that some minor changes were necessary to
  make the Lo$ as good and (!) logical as this story is now. And 
  although I haven`t read chapter 12 yet, I kindly ask you to do some
  additional pages- I simply can`t get enough of it.
3.Some people seem to think that you add or change facts to the 
  "untouchable" Duck-universe created by Carl Barks, and that`s 
  what they dislike about your work. Don`t mind, they are not able 
  to understand (or they just did not think about it) that you have 
  created a totally new universe that bases on Barks`, but is totally 
  independent and your personal view of the Duck`s world. For me it 
  is no copy, it is an interesting addition, but everyone should 
  devide these two universes to avoid misunderstandings. What I meant 
  with those changes I am not always happy about are those facts that
  have already been defined by Mr. Barks and are- well, history. 
  
PER: 
I didn`t get Digest #725. Could you please mail it to me within the 
next days? And please let me remain on this list, although I will be 
absent for the next months. My father will send the digests to the
States saved on a disk by mail. Thanks a lot!
My vote for putting this list on a commercial service is NO!
 
JOHN:
You should be careful what you say! By posting these comments on Don,
this `weasel` (?) and us mailing list members you did exactly that 
what you want us to avoid: You were the one who offended someone. I
am on this list for more than a half year now, and never there was 
someone who offended Carl Barks or anyone. Some critisised him, but
nothing else. No more comments on this bullshit, ok?
P.S: I don`t want to offend YOU with this mail, so please don`t 
misunderstand me.

ALL:
It might be that we`ll get a new member from Germany during the next 
weeks. So if a 14 year old boy called Ricky Werner should join our 
club after my departure, please send him my greetings. He`ll surely 
tell you more about him himself when he will join us.
