Donald Duck & Co #2 1995
------------------------

OK, here it is.

In the lead story (D93519, 10 pages) Daisy has got a big beast of
a dog. Donald tries to make the dog happy, to make Daisy happy. It
doesn't work exactly the way he planned to. Donald plans to steal
the dog, and after a while he'll return it to Daisy, and tell her
he found it. He steals the wrong dog...
This story is actually quite good.

The second story is a Mickey story (D93518, 8 pages). It's a Zoom
story, but not as bad as they use to be. MM and Goofy are hired by
a woman to find her husband, Mr. Livingstone, who's disappeared in
the jungle. The woman and her son come with them, and don't exactly
make it easier to find the man. Goofy is planning what he's going to
say to Mr. Livingstone all the time, and is almost paralyzed when
Mickey says it before him.

In the third story (D93223, 4 pages) Donald is selling funny signs,
which people can hang in ,or on, their houses (like: Fishing forbidden
in the bath tube). He's trying to sell one to neighboor Jones.
This one is good.

Then a Beagle Boys story (D93091, 6 pages). They buy a guide book
which is supposed to tell them which houses are worth to brake into.
The BB thinks the stars in the book (from one to seven) are supposed
to tell them where the biggest values are. Later, when they are in
prison, they find out that the stars tell which places are more and
less difficult to brake into.

Then a halfpager (W/WDC 111 J). Looks like a late Taliaferro strip.

Then comes part two of "Race to the South Seas". It is Daan Jippes'
version. I can see that now after having studied the redrawn JWW
stories. Why was it redrawn?
Since it is presented as a Barks classic, I think they should have
told about the redrawing too. They (Hjemmet) did that with one of
the JWW stories.

The last "story" is a DD one-pager (KF 9.23.45).
