In RE to Jorgen's statement on Marvel's relation to Gladstone,
it was actually the other way around...Gladstone took care of
the direct market and Marvel handled the newstand market. The
books were indeed isdentical, except for the "Disney Comics
distributed by Marvel" logo instead of the Gladstone one on the
covers.

Wal-Marts were good places to find Marvel Gladstones about a
month after they had passed through the direct comic shops.
