The Italian stories are normally worldwide republished... And the story you
mean was just ONE of a few sponsorized stories (art by Giorgio Cavazzano)
about all the kind of problems children may have with adults (not only
child-abuse). The sponsor was "il Telefono Azzurro", a well known humanitary
organization that helps children in Italy, giving them the opportunity to
use a special telephone number to contact specialized people who can help them.
So, you see, this is not the case of "alcohol, cigarettes, wolf-eating pigs,
sex" and so on. These were stories made for a noble cause. Probably, when
re-printed, there were not the explanation pages on "il Telefono Azzurro"
that were on Topolino (the Italian weekly magazine).
In Italy we make, from time to time, stories dedicated to (or sponsorized
by) humanitary organizations: for the handicapped people, the World Wildlife
Fund and so on. And the publishers who reprint them, evidently, are not so
much interested to the humanitary organizations which originated the stories...
