Accent (was: $crooge McDuck)

Doesn't that depend quite a lot on how it's written? It becomes
much easier to imagine a Scottish accent if there is an occassional
"lad", for instance. Scrooge has no Scottish accent here in Norway,
of course. He speaks a very good language ;-)
Since most of you American readers (and this question about accent
does apply mostly to you, I guess) have read Disney comics since
you were quite young, you'll still read it as you did then, without
any accent. It's not that difficult, though, to imagine an accent,
if you start to read comics in English when you know that there are 
different ways of speaking this language.

It's a lot of fun reading Chip'n Dale stories in English (or 
American...), BTW. Here they have a perfect language, and so do
indians. There are only an occasional "ugh" to show that they are
indians.
