Do you mean the version I have in the "Le Journal de Mickey Geant"?
Or is the version you mentioned used in several French Disney comics?
It must be that way, because my LJdMG is from 1985.

So this version appeared in 1985, and also contained the politically
incorrect images of natives. Also the panel that was taken away in
the redrawn version, containing two natives saying: "Ya! And if you no
tell us by moonrise, we eatum! Yum! Yum!". Isn't that version
of the story forbidden? How can it be then, that they reprinted it in
France in 1985?
