I think part of the charm of Disney comics is that life is simple.
Interesting, adventurous at times, yes, but simple. The more it would be
complicated by real human complexities such as real love, the more the
charm of these stories would disappear. Maybe this charm has to do with
childhood memories, in which love wasn't such a complexity either.
