Uh... well, yes and no. I'm looking forward to KOMIX publishing the first
*correct* full edition of that story. Egmont's version was lacking my extra
pages, Gladstone used those pages but was forced by Disney to censor other
parts with such dangerously "unhygienic" ideas like fleas and sneezing and
prunes-in-pockets... and I once tried to get the German (Ehapa) "Rosa
album" series to print the full edition by sending them all the missing
art. But not much care seemed to ever be taken in those German editions...
blah coloring, poor background lettering, easily-avoidable incorrect art on
3-part to 1-part story conversions, incorrect cover coloring and omitted
lettering, all the way to the wrong covers on several whole books... and
they apparently didn't know how to correctly copy and color that extra
"Tightwad" art I sent since it appeared fuzzy and splotchy in their
edition. On the other hand, KOMIX always does a superb job in *all* these
departments, so I look forward to their use of the story as the first NICE
full version. I hope.
(Incidentally, that German Rosa album series is now under a new editor, and
it will also only appear about once a year since they have caught up to my
current output, which in itself is very *slow*. So, I'm hoping future
editions will be something I can be prouder of.... I like all the nice
folks at Ehapa, even if that album series often embarrassed me.)
