Not sure what you mean by this comment. Moores is certainly a well known artist, indeed one of the greats of comic strips (for his Gasoline Alley c1960-c1986).   Even some of his Disney work ( basically the ones he wrote as well as drew) are extremely good.  
  Now his donald duck does look a bit odd (more like hultgren than barks).
