Sorry but it seems I got things mixed up, these are
not "Tom and Jerry" stories, but Droopy (former "Happy
Hound") stories that were published in Tom and Jerry
Comics by Dell. They are the only extra-Disney stories
that we did not publish in the "Barks Bear Book".

Barks did 3 Droopy scripts for "Tom and Jerry Summer
Fun" and "Tom and Jerry Winter Carnival", all of them
8 pages long. I'll quote the short descriptions that
Barrier gave in his book (and the reprints
information) below:

Tom and Jerry Winter Carnival 1 (12/52)
Droopy is given a job as fox hound, and he bumbles
through the hunt until he follows the fox into the
hunter's house.
Reprinted in Golden Digest 41, 1/1975
Drawings by Carl Buettner.

Tom and Jerry Winter Carnival 2 (1953)
A cynical "hero" dog contrives to have Droopy carry
serum to forty children through terrible weather.
Reprinted in Golden Digest 22, 3/1972

Tom and Jerry Summer Fun 1 (7/1954)
Droopy, while looking for a place to bury his bone, is
chosen as the mascot for a ship headed for a tropical
island in search of the bluebeard's buried treasure.
Reprinted in Tom and Jerry Summer Fun 1, 1967

What we need are very good scans of those comics or
one of the reprints.

All the best and thanks for your time

  Henri Michaux
