A poem for Barks

An angel you were !
Like an angel, you spread so much goodness and joy
All over the world !
You blessed our childhood with your inspiring teachings,
Fantastic adventures
And the fancy world you created for us !
You made possible that the child inside each one of us could
never die !
For you to fully carry out your mission,
God allowed you to live almost a whole century !
A century of pure enjoyment,
A century of blessed grace,
A century of true love !
Oh, Carl !
Wherever you are,
The little child inside me
Tenderly kisses your hands,
Congratulates and thanks you,
For this whole century of eternal love !
