I suspect that "unlax" was used by someone on a radio show from the 1940's or perhaps 30's (Life of Riley, maybe?). My father, who never read a comic book in his life, occasionally used the term. I've sent an inquiry to a friend who knows about such things -- we'll see if he knows. But in the meantime, I'm sure Barks did NOT originate that term.
