I think the truth is in the middle (as often is the case). We certainly need
*some* consistency. I wouldn't accept a story where Donald is rich and has
no temper (that is, without any explanation in the story).

So maybe your statement can be rephrased as: "Don't bother with consistancy
*of* details." 8-)
