In support of Rob's localization, let me quote the beginning of Barks'
plot outline for "Hang Gliders Be Hanged":

"On sunny days the Black Forest of Duckburg swarms with picnic parties.
There are carnivals and games ... and contests like pie eating ... and
this day there is a hang glider race about to start from the top of
Mount Demontooth."

(Historical note: Barks wrote this outline in 1974 for Danish publisher
Gutenberghus/Egmont. It was eventually turned into a script by Tom
Anderson and drawn by Vicar.)
