Teleportation

This morning there was an article in the local newspaper here in Trondheim
about some Australian scientists experimenting on teleportation
(instantaneously moving mass from one point to another). What they wanted
to do was "copying" an atom from one place to another using information
technology. Well, this seems like sheer science fiction to me, but to bring
this on topic: The article had a brilliant illustration: A panel from
Barks' 10-pager "Stranger than fiction" from WDC 249. The panel is the one
showing doctors trying to help Donald when his upper half is attached to
the device in Donald's house while his legs are left in Gyro's office
because of a power outage at Gyro's. The text under the illustration says
something like: "There can be problems connected to teleportation, like
when Donald's legs are left behind in Gyro's office because of a power outage"

Barks can be used to almost anything!

Halsten
