Country and other place names in other languages are a real strange thing
...
All the world says "Finland", but the Fins say "Suomi"
All the world says "Holland", but the Dutch say "Netherland(s)"
Germany = Allemand = Deutschland = Németország (Hungarian) = Allemagne
(the Germanen were a tribe, the Allemannen another - actually today the
Allemannen are mostly Swiss ;-)
Vienna, Vienne, Wien, Wenen, Becs(!) in Hungarian!
Paris - written in the same way, but pronounced differently in many
languages.
München - Munic - Munique - Monaco
Mailand - Milano
...
