Barks in National Geographic?

In a previous mail to DCML Michael Rhode claims that
the June 2002 issue of National Geographic contains
one page about Carl Barks' use of the National
Geographic magazine as a source for geographic
background information for his stories.

I have checked this issue and it definitely seems like
Mr. Rhode is wrong about this. I can find nothing
about Barks, but a lot about D-Day (the allied
invasion in Normandie on June 6th 1944) in that exact
issue.

If anyone will still claim that this page does exist
in this particular issue of NG, please prove it,
either by referring to the exact page number or by a
scan.
