Sigvald --

My Toonopedia touches on fictional biography when necessary, but doesn't
delve very deeply into it because that way lies madness. In most cases, the
exact relationships among the Disney characters are not relevant to what I'm
trying to do, which is to provide a reference work for the general public,
as opposed to detailed treatment of sometimes-iffy and always very esoteric
information of interest only to specialists.

I take a lot of flak for this from American superhero fans, who often get
upset that their favorite trivial details are left out. But I'm not writing
it for them, either. And they bristle worse at my characterizing such points
as "trivial details" than you do.

I may modify my Scrooge article to include at least a brief mention of
Rosa's "Life & Times". But as monumental as you and I may consider it, from
the point of view from which I'm writing the Toonopedia, it's a minor
detail.

As for why I have an article on Barks but not Rosa, please see
http://www.toonopedia.com/faq.htm I'll get one done on him eventually, but
there are a LOT of people who are going to get in before he does.

Quack, Don
