I'm sorry, but I disagree with this. Years ago, there (also) were 
complaints about this mailing list being single-angled and monotonous. 
Some subjects were just to sacred to criticize, at the time. I think 
that, in general, the mailing list has improved a lot since then.

I don't see why you should leave, but that's up to you to decide.

What I don't see is why you didn't start up more non-Barks and 
non-Rosa conversations, yourself. You've complained about Barks and 
Rosa being the only important artists on this mailing list. By doing 
that, you've put them in the center of your contributions as well.
This makes you guilty, too.

Complaining about subjects, instead of contributing subjects, gives 
me an impression of someone watching television. "Hey! Amuse me or 
I'll zap to another station!"

Soeren, I hope you will stay, and that I can look forward to 
contributions about all the other artists you like.
