Fernando Ventura asked about Carl Barks' opinion of "DuckTales."  I can think 
of only one instance when he was actually quoted on the subject, in the late 
80s when the show was new.  He basically begged off commenting on it because 
"it wasn't his character [Uncle Scrooge] anymore."  This suggests a posture 
of relatively benign neglect.
