Those Ever-Scary "Humans" With Duck-Bills Only

Ah! I knew they would never leave! I must have faith in my ever-scary 
"humans" with duck-bills only! I'm proud of them!

Does anyone know when those characters started appearing in Barks' stories? I 
seem to recall them being in later efforts, but they could have appeared 
earlier than the early 60's stories I'm thinking of.

Just wondering.
