I would say, yes. At least they are heavily influenced by horror. Old Castle 
has lots of old Gothic horror ingredients and Voodo Hoodoo has imagery from 
classic horror films (mainly of Universal studios) from 1930's and 40's. You 
could add Ghost of the Grotto to the bunch of Barks' horror Duck comics 
("Tonight is the night!").
