For me, it would be a question about the chicken or the egg. :-)

And just to muddy the waters further:

Good comics can help a lot in learning about the world, and about what 
one can expect during real life. I often compare comics with fables 
(fox and the raven) and fairy tales (Little Red Riding Hood), which 
often contain a hidden warning. 

For example, what will happen if people decide to stray off the path 
by becoming a criminal? Just check some of Donald's adventures, where 
Donald becomes one.

P.S. Hasn't anyone found the little visual error in Barks's "Letter to 
Santa"? (CP 1) I expected it to be common knowlegde...

hint #1: look at Santa Donald while fighting with Santa Scrooge.
hint #2: look at Donald's custome on page 21 to 24.
