I mistakenly did not complete the following post - I didn't even think 
I'd posted it in the first place - but I find I have, so I should 
provide the finished version:

Just so this is as clear as possible, Geoff Blum was on salary, and not 
a freelancer. In that sense he is perhaps entitled to use the empirical 
"we" when discussing Gladstone editorial decisions. It remains true, 
though, that he toiled far from the Gladstone offices, and did not 
directly participate in those decisions.

My one recollection of Geoff being on-site was during the production of 
Mickey Mouse In Color. It was a monumental undertaking, years in the 
planning and, suddenly, bare weeks from deadline, so it was all hands 
on deck for that one.
