Everyone:

Don Marksten writes and several others offer replies to the following:

>>Also by the way, I can't think of any other examples of identical
> triplets in comics -- or in stories in general, for that matter. In
> fact, just off the top of my head, I can't think of any absolutely
> identical twins, other than Heckle & Jeckle, the Terrytoons stars, and
> the twins in Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast trilogy.>>

What about April, May, and June? Or the Beagle Brats? Okay, so they are
"spinoffs" created to directly counter HD&L (Girls to Boys and Bad to Good),
but they still count!

Beep Beep the Road Runner (The one who spoke in RHYME like Bucky Bug - as
opposed to Chuck Jones' Road Runner) had three identical SONS (!) in the Dell
and Gold Key comics.

...And, didn't Popeye have FOUR identical nephews in the Famous Studios
cartoons?

Joe Torcivia.
