the Lions Club in Norway still collects money for charity under the
Red Feather logo every fourth or fifth years.  the next Red Feather
campaign will be held in 2009.  you can see some cars driving around
with a red feather in their rear window, although this is not as
common as it used to be.  a search on Google reveals the Finnish,
Swedish and Icelandic chapters do this, too.
