Rats! I've been scooped!
I was to Israel for New Year's Eve (and a few days after that), and I also
bought a Disney Comic featuring Donald Duck. I let alone the Winnie-Pooh
one...

Let's hope we have different issues! Mine is dated 2nd january 2000.
I'll make just two comments for now: there are very few comics in the
issue: two six-pagers, one three-pager and a Taliaferro gag. Totalling 16
pages out of 48, exactly 1/3. In the Italian "Topolino" there are about 160
pages of comics out of a total of 190...
And: it's a hard job for the indexers! While reversing the pages (because
the Israelians, like the arabs, read "backward"...) they ERASE the code! So
there remains only the tiny rectangular box in the splash-panel, but no
code in it!!!

So how shall we index these issues? Maybe I'll put on-line a scan of the
splash-panels, in case anyone is interested in recognizing the stories. Or
maybe David, at Egmont's, knows everything on the content of these issues?
 ;-)
