Here too, but still we're aware that Norway is in the question.
I noticed there's a leming in the background when Donald and the kids
go back to Norway in the From Duckburg to Lillehamme-story by Don.

Me too. but still they were published. Did they have new Barks-albums,
or where they
actually all reprints, if you know?

That publisher would be Egmont H. Petersen's fond (fund).
I am going to make a search in my collection as to see when they
actually began
to write Gutenberghus isntead. Later some year in the 90'es they
changed back to
calling themselves Egmont.
The beloved kodex is from Gutenberghus, though it would maybe originate

somewhere in America. (What was that? Calling the kodex beloved? Irony,

Sarcasm or pure blasphemy?)

It's correct that it should be goats, but these aren't, they the most
ridicoulous,
most ugly editors corrections I've ever seen! If they really wanted to
correct the
mistakes in the story, they should have contacted Western and they
should
have told Barks to redo the story, with goats, and the right hammer
(Mjølner).
But why would they do that, we're talking comics - they are for
children - and
they don't deserve quality, right? (what the ....?!?)

I'll make a color scan of the original panel tonight, and tell you
where I put it.

I would presume that the scandinavian publishers cooperated then as now
-
though there might have been a large pause inbetween the 60'es and now.

So KA 1962-28 and DD1962-28 would be good guesses, though you swedish
and
nowrwegian people here would have to check that. The story doesn't seem
to be published
in germany at the same time, only in MM in 1987, so that would be the
correct
(erm... no, Barks-) version with horses.

> Do you know where to find historical pictures of Thor with goats?
Noone had cameras back then, I would say, just to be funny.
(On the other hand, did any wikings ever see these gods, or did they
make them up?
ask that question to any religion and you'd be hang in certain
countries...)
And I guess the album series Valhalla would be too new, though i would
do a
scan for you, if you like (I would have to borrow the album 1 first).

Seriously, i wouldn't know where to find older paintings or drawings of
those goats. -
I have new books with drawings of the norse gods and such, but that
wouldn't help much...

Yours
