They aren't.
I checked and I found it... But maybe we'll be surprised. The Murry story,
published in TL 438 (1964) was translated into TOPOLINO E LA STRANA
UBIQUITA', and there are Mounties (but NOT any mooses, sorry...). It's
setted in a "sort of Canada", maybe not far from Hidden River, since Black
Pete (Black Pierre in the original version), this time, in Italy, is called
"*PIERRE* il nero". Obviously a mistake of the translator, sice in the other
stories, that villain was Pietro Gambadilegno all the time. Or maybe that he
has a fake identity this time too? Hmmm... Something doesn't fit.
