US "Junkyard Gag"

I believe the Uncle Scrooge gag you refer to is from US Uncle Scrooge Nr.
22, from June-Aug. 1958.
It started with Gladstone driving by Scrooge on his way to the garage to
buy parts for his car.  Then came Donald, on his way to the junk yard to
buy parts for his car.  Then Scrooge drives by the Boys, who ask him where
he is going.  Then we see Scrooge in an early 1890s auto which is virtually
falling apart.  He explains that he is on his way to the Museum to buy
parts for HIS car.
