I guess they assumed that skunk oil factory sounds too "exotic" for European 
ears. Remember the first translation of WDC 279 ("Once upon a Carnival"), 
when "baseball" was changed to "Tennisball"! I don't know, though, if they 
did the same in the Scandinavian translations.
