<<Or, in the case of the text stories that ran in Harvey Comics, "something
OLD" wrapped in same... Harvey was notorious for recycling the same text
stories over and over again. I'm not sure how often Western Publishing did
this, however. My impression is that when WP did a reprint of one or more
stories from a particular past issue, they often simply reprinted the text story
that originally accompanied them.>.

Marvel-Atlas-Timely Comics also recycled the same text story over and over
again -
I suspect they are comics champs at that - i understand that there is one
story that was reprinted over ten times - once just two months after the
previous.
However, since Harvey did text stories for thirty more years, maybe they are
tops - they certainly had the time!

Western Publishing at least usually put the copyright date on the reprint,
so you knew it was a reprint.
