In Poland the Junior Woodchucks are called "Młodzi Skauci" which translates
to "Junior Scouts".
However, the Polish equivalent of 'scouting' is called 'harcerstwo', and the
people who are involved - 'harcerze', the 'cub scouts' are called 'zuchy'.
We never call them 'scouts' although the word itself does exists in Polish.
So in Poland the Junior Woodchucks neither are considered to be scouts (or
'harcerstwo') nor are translated quite directly.
On the other hand, the exact translation to Polish would be "Młode świszcze"
which sounds like if someone made a typo (as we don't have those animals in
Poland and nobody heard of them). :-)
